Golden Globes Handed Out Mysterious Gift Bags Worth $10,000 Each! Here’s What’s Inside
In children’s birthday parties, it is typical to receive a complimentary loot bag. Inside you would see the usual – a toy, perhaps even a Hatchimal, maybe a DIY lip gloss, some candies, and if the mother is very health conscious, a dental kit for kids. While loot bags are usually just random things packed together by a Pinterest-loving parent, those for award shows are beyond DIY’s and far from Hatchimals – sometimes these even cost around $10,000 each.
Just like any award shows, not every nominee will go home a winner. While some actors took home an award, some movies even more than one, not everyone will have a gold statuette in hand as the credits roll but fret not, they will surely go home with a gift bag in hand, which of course, can at least appease the pain from not winning the trophy.
From Gluten-Free Cookie Dough to Hawaii Trip
Celebrity product placement agency Secret Room Events hosted a special “gift suite” event for the nominees and several media service staff, so even the non-winning contenders of the ceremony can still alleviate stress with complimentary massages, manicures, and even Botox treatments. Believe it or not, things can get pretty stressful, so a lot of people could really use this service.
Aside from these luxurious party favors from sponsors like LELO, Ann Neilson Home, Bare Nature, and Thomas George Estates, part of this “gift suite” nominees also received were: a seven-night Hawaii vacation from American Luxury Tours, a two-night stay at Estancia La Jolla Hotel and Spa, Baroque & Rose skincare products, H2rOse rose water, and Copper + Cane spa products. Heavenly, right? Wait, that’s not all.
Nuvelon bluetooth speakers, SunSoaker solar-powered chargers, and pregnancy and new parent care packages from Silver Stork also comprised the nominee gift bags. RXBAR protein bars, San Clemente Cookie Dough Co. gluten-free cookie dough, Livie & Luca children’s shoes, Nancy Ganz shapewear, and Our Planet Soap products were also included.
Socks, Sunscreens, and Furla Tote Bags
Of course, attendees were also given their own totes of expensive goodies. The female attendees were given a Furla Eden tote with skincare and beauty products, including Mad Hippie Cleansing Oil, OleHenriksen C-Rush Brightening Gel Crème, Oribe Cote d’Azur Nourishing Hand Crème, Rituals Ritual of Dao Calming Gift Set, Thank You Farmer Miracle Age Repair Emulsion, and Supergoop Unseen Sunscreen. Lash Paradise Mascara, Elvive Rapid Reviver, and LUMI Glotion from L’Oréal Paris were also thrown in the bags of the female goers of the Golden Globes.
Men attendees, meanwhile, were gifted their own bag consisting of Dagne Dover Large Dakota Backpack and grooming and skincare necessities like Aveda Grooming Clay, Bioderma 1 Sensibio Gel Eye Contour, doTerra Deep Blue Rub cream, Hask Charcoal with Citrus Oil Purifying Shampoo, and JJ Young by Caolion Pore Cool Cleanser.
Meet the Bulldog Organic Bamboo Razor Love Sun Body sunscreen Mistral luxury soap, Murdock London Shave Cream, PiperWai Activated Charcoal Deodorant StickPort Products, L’Oréal Paris Elvive Rapid Reviver, and Marine Layer Intense Recovery Treatment Mask were also part of their skincare kit.
To complete the males’ loot bags, miscellaneous products like A Great Life Money Maze, black umbrella from Totes Isotoner, a Conair MiniPro Tourmaline Ceramic Styler 263SR, crew socks from Sock It To Me Movie Night, and ZeroWater tumbler were also provided.
Kick-starting The Awards Season
Golden Globes, one of the most prestigious award ceremony in Hollywood, is probably one of the most sought after shows by celebrities and entertainment savvies alike. Aside from kick-starting the awards season every January, it is also one of the ceremonies in which does not only celebrate film production and actors, but also honors shows, mini-movies, and mini-series across different media platforms including television, cinemas, and digital media-service providers.
This year, the 76th Golden Globes, held at The Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, California on Jan. 6, was as glamorous as ever attended by A-listers from all over the world. Big winners of the night include the controversial movie “Green Book,” which won three awards including Best Motion Picture for Musical or Comedy, Best Supporting Actor for Mahershala Ali, and Best Screenplay; and “Roma,” a Mexican entry distributed by Netflix, which won two awards, including Best Director for Alfonso Cuaron and Best Foreign Language Film.
“The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story,” snatched two awards namely Best Miniseries or Television Film and Best Actor for Darren Criss, and “The Komisky Method,” which also nabbed two awards, Best Television Series for Musical or Comedy and Best Actor in a Television Series for Michael Douglas.
