There is only one actor who can can do justice to the Superman’s character and that is Henry Cavil! Cavil was born in 1983 on a Channel Island. He found acting when he was a student at Stowe boarding school.  In 2001, he joined the crew of  The Inspector Lynley Mysteries series.

In 2002, he starred in The Count of Monte Cristo and his career flew quickly from there. The actor faced his fair share of setbacks throughout his career. He didn’t get the Superman role the first time around and he also he lost to Daniel Craig for the coveted James Bond character.

Cavil finally got the Superman’s role in 2013. He had to work out extensively to build the stature of a superhero. The movie went on to make millions worldwide, opening doors for other big film projects. Cavil joined Ben Affleck in the sequel Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and even went on to act in The Man From U.N.C.L.E.

The superhero has made a lot of money from his film and television appearances.  However, his paycheck for the superhero movie wasn’t very impressive. He was paid $300,000 for Man of Steel while his role in Laguna, earned him a whopping $413,000. He went on to receive $306,000 for  his role in The Count of Monte Cristo, $103,000 for Red Riding Hood, $142,000 for his role in Hellraiser: Hellworld, $162,000 for I Capture the Castle, and  $126,000 for Tristan & Isolde.
