Kristy McNichol made her mark in the entertainment industry after taking on various roles such as Barbara Weston in Empty Nest and Polly in Only When I Laugh. Aside from acting, Kristy also dabbled in singing and producing, also finding success in whatever endeavor and career investment she made. In 2001, she retired from Tinsel town and has been living a quiet life with her partner, Martie Allen.

Martie also tried to find her footing in the entertainment industry, having shared similar dreams as her actress wife. While she didn’t exactly reach the zenith of fame, she still had her fair share of achievements to her name. And now, the duo is happily together, content with the kind of life they have away from the spotlight.
