Ashton Kutcher Raking in MILLIONS from Tech Companies, Here’s How

If there is one celebrity who has made a lot of money from the tech niche, it is Ashton Kutcher.  The smart actor has been investing in several companies like Foursquare and Skype. The $1 million he invested in Skype tripled when Microsoft bought the platform. He went ahead to create a venture fund in 2011 called A-Grade Investments, with Ron Burkle and Guy Oseary.

So far, A-Grade has invested in Uber, Dwolla, Spotify, Airbnb, Foursquare, Fab, and Path. The actor is also a co-founder of Media Company that creates original content for digital media, television, and film.

The media company called, Katalyst, invests in startups that have brilliant people trying to solve hard problems. His startup investment formula is depended on return and happiness.

Despite the success he has managed to achieve in his business endeavours today, it wasn’t always a smooth sail for this actor-turned-entrepreneur. There was a time when he lost all his money but his dedication and passion towards the business finally earned him a massive return on his investment.

There is no magic formula in investing for him. However, he looks at domain expertise, grit, purpose, and charisma. If these factors are involved, he can wisely invest on a project.
